Professor Dr. Dharma Manandhar is the Executive
Director of MIRA. He was Prof. and Head of the Dept. of Pediatrics,
Kathmandu Medical College. MIRA is involved in hospital and large community
based studies on maternal and neonatal health. Ex-President of MIRA and
Founder President of Perinatal Society of Nepal and Past President of Nepal
Pediatric Society and a Fellow of several professional bodies in Nepal,
India and UK and he is actively involved with WHO. He has received several
prestigious national awards. |

Prof. Dr. Dookeran Kieth Dookeran is a causal
inference data scientist, life-sciences entrepreneur, academic
physician/epidemiologist, former surgical oncologist, and epidemiology
faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Zilber College of Public
Health. Dr. Dookeran has over 20 years of experience in epidemiology
consulting, academic research and education, with expertise in cancer,
health disparities, advanced data analysis methods, health services and
policy, and perinatal and global health. He received a Master of Business
Administration from the University of Chicago, an M.D. in Translational
Surgical Oncology from the University of Leicester, UK, and a Ph.D. in
Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. |
